The Mayor, Cllr June Player hosted a Civic Reception for pupils from Orchard Lodge, a resource centre for children with moderate learning difficulties attached to St Mark’s School.
The pupils were taking part in a project ‘Learning about Prominent People’ and the visit gave the pupils the opportunity to engage with the Mayor, ask questions & see the Council Chamber & Mayor’s Parlour.
The Mayor said “It was a most fun & enjoyable visit with the pupils asking many interesting questions.”.
