The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Yukteshwar Kumar, and Deputy Mayoress, Mrs Taniya Deb had the pleasure of attending the Hello Student Bath charity concert on Saturday 7 August at the The Salvation Army Bath Citadel.
The concert which was sponsored by ‘Perfecto’ was raising funds for the Oblates of Notre Dame Sisters feeding program which provide support for children in poverty-stricken Indigenous communities in Cotabato, Philippines.
The MA/PHD students who are all studying at the University of Bath and are residents of Hello Student Bath spent many days preparing for the event and for most this was the first time they had performed on stage.
Despite being amateurs, the performance proved to be impressive as they took they audience on a musical tour around the world.
