The Mayor, Cllr June Player took part in the inaugural ticketed guided tour of Fairfield House to celebrate Black History Month.
The building that was HIM Haile Selassie 1 Emperor of Ethiopia’s residence during his 5 years in exile which he donated to the City of Bath on his return to Ethiopia in gratitude for the welcome he’d received to the City.
The building is now the meeting place for BEMSCA, Bath Ethnic Minority Senior Citizens Association.
