The Mayor, Cllr June Player attended the opening of the Combe Down Primary School refurbished play area. This was the Mayors first visit & loved the whole wood-like feel of the School. The House Captains gave the Mayor a most informative & interesting tour round the Log Cabin & its classrooms & library.
The Mayor went on to participate in planting a Flowering Cherry for The Queen’s Jubilee and as part of HM’s Green Canopy Initiative.
