The Mayor, Cllr Rob Appleyard attended the University of Bath catch up Graduation Ceremony.
Before the event the Mayor was given the opportunity to meet Prof Dame Sarah Gilbert who was receiving her honorary Degree. Professor Gilbert led the team that created the AstraZeneca vaccine. The Mayor said “I & many feel a deep sense of gratitude for her work.”
After the event the Mayor said “it was great to see so much achievement despite the challenges faced through Covid. There were Many proud families in attendance and a huge well done to the university for completing the students experience.
