The Mayor, Cllr Rob Appleyard hosted a Civic Reception for the Artiance Orchestra from Alkmaar (Bath’s Twin City in The Netherlands)
The Mayor welcomed the Orchestra into the Guildhall. Sharing the history of the Mayor of Bath & the twinning of our two Cities.
The Mayor was able to share a light hearted moment with Otto, the conductor when ringing the gong that connects the great cities of Alkmaar & Bath.
The Mayor said he was very much looking forward to his visit to Threeways School tomorrow to watch the planned musical workshop.
