The Mayor, Cllr Rob Appleyard hosted Mr George Harding in the Mayor’s Parlour. George is a local fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support and has raised over £200,000.
The Mayor presented a British Citizenship Award on behalf of Macmillan. The Mayor said “it is a true privilege to present George with the certificate of honour recognising his British Citizen Award for 23 years of dedicated fundraising for Macmillan.”
