The Mayor, Cllr Rob Appleyard received an unexpected visit by two travelling carpenters from Munich whilst on a European tour. The Carpenters were taking part in the ancient tradition of the traditional three years & one day tour when they have to travel for three years and a day in a specific uniform and are not to return home within this time. The Mayor said “there is Never a dull moment in the parlour.”
