The Mayor, Cllr Rob Appleyard and Mayoress, Mrs Amanda Appleyard attended the St Nicholas’ Church Service of the Word as part of a visit by the Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, to lay a tribute on the grave of Admiral Arthur Phillip, Commander of the First Fleet and First Governor 1788-92.
