The Mayor, Cllr Rob Appleyard paid a visit to Widcombe Junior School for World Book Week where he was able to read to read to Year 3 and 4.
The Mayor said “Thankyou to the school for inviting me in for book week. Y3 how will Mr Penguin get on in the Museum? Y4 look forward to Walters fearsome battle with the squirrel hunter! Kate has organised a fantastic book week showing true dedication as the school librarian, she is a credit to the school.”
